The depth is breath-taking. You give a real field view of your location. it seems almost unreal and yet, so familiar. I think it goes back to classic pointillism in that respect, makes the eye want to wander back and forth between the immediate surface(foreground), the depth of field (background) and the colors which come at the viewer in layers.

I will say nature is never complete in the hand of an artist, and few can give it the grand spectacle of light and movement (play) but this one can be seen as a picture out into the world. I love it and can imagine it as a wall sized mural, daring the viewer to step into it before realizing it's a painting/digital art/someone else's perspective.
